Benjamin Reineta a.k.a. Mr. Beef was born and raised on Curacao. He moved to the Netherlands when he was just 18 years old to play in the Dutch National baseball team and to study sports education.
After quitting the baseball team and getting his diploma's Benjamin became a personal trainer and started training for himself.
His body reacted like crazy on the proper training and dieting and after a lot of comments about competing at a bodybuilding competition Benjamin decided to start his bodybuilding career with his first competition in 2013.
He competed at a competition called 'Open Limburgse' and not only did he won his class (-90kg), he also took the overall titel and the award for best poser. The 'Open Rotterdamse', just a few weeks later, was his second competition and again Benjamin won his class, the overall titel and the best pose award. After this two titels Benjamin decided to compete at the Dutch Nationals in 2013 and he took second place.
In 2014 Benjamin came back for revenge and he won the Dutch Nationals (his class and overall).
After being offseason for a while Benjamin made a comeback at the Dutch Nationals in 2016 and again he won his class.
He proved to himself he got what it takes to win in the Netherlands, but how will he score on international level? September 2016 Benjamin competed at the Arnold Classic to see how far he would be able to make it and... he won his class!
Benjamin, now motivated more than ever, competed at the Diamond Cup in Liverpool and placed third.
Although this was not the place he hoped for, it made him hungry, hungry for more!!!
Benjamin is now working his ass off to beat himself and show the bodybuilding world what he is made of, so stay tuned...
